Addyi is the new sexual desire pink pill for women. Unlike Viagra, which works on the actual blood flow to the machinery in men, this pill works on greasing the wheels in the female’s brain. The FDA has laid-down some ground rules including who can prescribe it and what ladies taking it should not do. Only specially trained physicians can write a script for it and those women should be willing to refrain from alcohol consumption while taking it. The pill must be taken every day. Oh, one more thing: women taking it could randomly pass-out and should be careful when driving. Clearly, there’s room for improvement with Addyi. A Canadian pharmaceutical company has purchased the drug from Sprout Pharmaceuticals. Maybe they can make Addyi an MVP? Right now, it’s an impressive player in the bush league.
